This paper proposes a playful robotic vehicle to promote the interaction of children with cerebral palsy and their environment, both social and physical. The main goal of the vehicle, called PALMIBER, is to improve the cognitive and physical skills of the users through mobility experiences. Moreover, we present a novel head-mounted inertial interface especially designed for children with severe motor disability. The solutions and methods proposed in this paper have been validated experimentally.
