The present paper addresses the problem of creating a dynamically and elastically scaled blade of a helicopter main rotor model. The issues of scaling the geometric, elastic and mass characteristics of the full-scale blade, are considered. A sequential design approach of constructing the structure section to attain the required elastic and mass characteristics of the blade, is described. Numerical verification is conducted for the results obtained.
