Industrial design, apparel design, tool design, and workplace design all heavily rely on anthropometry. For farmers, a tractor is their primary form of power. The design of a contemporary tractor seat must therefore take these human issues into account. When anthropometric dimensions are appropriately considered in the design of seat, these variables enable the operator to carry out a variety of different activities with maximum effectiveness, safety and minimum fatigue. For drivers to have a better driving experience and comfort, the tractor seat's design is crucial. In present study Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) was used for assessment existing and proposed the design of the tractor seat where it was observed that RULA score (risk factor) was reduced from 5 to 2 when the tractor seat was modified taking into consideration of anthropometric dimensions.
