With the continuous development of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technology in the field of warfare, target pursuit has become a hot topic in the domain of multi-UAV operations. To improve the success rate of the pursuit, reduce the pursuit time, this paper proposes a multi-UAV pursuit strategy based on a two-stage cooperative search. Firstly, the luring tactic is introduced and combined with the pursuit process; then, based on the luring model, the pursuit process is divided into two stages. In the first stage, the aircraft approaches the predicted trajectory of the target, the luring aircraft completes the luring, the attacking aircraft completes the detection, and the aircraft’s flight path is planned based on the Hybrid A* algorithm to facilitate the lure. In the second stage, the luring aircraft’s flight path is generated through the luring model, and the attacking aircraft’s flight path is generated based on the Hybrid A* algorithm. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed pursuit strategy is verified through simulation comparison.
