The human performance of the pilot status during flight missions is an important factor affecting the flight safety. Due to the lag of experimental evaluation, it is necessary to establish a human performance model for ex ante prediction, which provides new methods and ideas for ex ante analysis of human-computer interaction system. Methods-Based on the task network, this present study proposes a new simulation calculation method of pilot situation awareness that is calculated by the difference between resource supply and demand as well as the task understanding. Results- Then an experiment is conducted to analyze the correlation between the simulation calculation results by the method and the experimental measurement results. Conclusions- It is showed that the theoretical values by the method is significantly and strongly correlated with the experimental values, thus verifying the effectiveness of the situation awareness simulation calculation method. Application- It can be supported for the human performance prediction assessment in future air combat and flight missions.
