Traffic and congestion in Mexico City (CDMX) represent a significant problem, complicating and stressing daily commutes due to the lack of information on the best routes and means of transportation. The integrated mobility system of the CDMX offers several options, but its complexity and the dispersion of information make it difficult to plan efficient trips. Current maps, signage and applications do not adequately meet the needs of users, who face fragmented data and suboptimal decisions, causing confusion and delays.

The creation of an application that centralizes and organizes all the information on the information available from the CDMX mobility system will allow users to access detailed data on routes, costs and connections between different modes of transport, improving the efficiency and quality of travel. The integration of a routing algorithm would optimize routes, facilitating transfers from one point to another within the city. In addition, the application would include a language selection option for tourists, improving their transportation experience.

The development of the application was carried out in the Flutter environment, which was suitable for mobile devices with various operating systems, thus simplifying the development process. The application will be limited to providing information and routes without operationally managing transportation services. This initiative seeks to encourage the use of public transportation, reduce vehicular traffic and environmental pollution, contributing to a more connected, efficient and user-friendly city.
