The vehicular network’s connectivity probability can provide theoretical guidance for both reducing traffic accidents and enhancing traffic efficiency. Most of the previous studies are focused on connectivity probability in ideal freeway scenarios, without considering the impact of entrances/exits. In this paper, a dynamic connectivity analytical model for freeway scenarios with entrances/exits is proposed. In the proposed model, some parameters, including the vehicle flow, the communication radius, the vehicle speed, and the vehicles’ travel probability through the entrances/exits, are dynamically set and analyzed in the practical freeway scenarios. The connectivity probability analysis is verified through simulation. Numerical results showed that the above-mentioned parameters, except for the vehicle speed, are closely correlated with the connectivity probability.
