Within China’s aerospace industry exist several age cohorts, or generations, of professionals. These aerospace scientists, engineers, and technicians of the same age cohorts share commonalities in experiences, ethics, and ways of thinking. People who grew up in the same time span can have similar beliefs and thought processes due to shared historical events (wars, revolution, or economic depressions), child rearing practices, technologies, societal trends, and career paths that shape their personalities in similar fashion.
