Headform impactor to bonnet top tests are performed to assess the level of pedestrian head injury in collisions. The HIC value is used to evaluate the level of pedestrian head injury in these tests. The HIC value is calculated based on the characteristic of resultant acceleration of the headform impactor center of gravity. Thus, the HIC value or the level of pedestrian head injury measured in these tests will depend on the characteristic of the headform impactor kinematics during the collision process. In order to design a pedestrian head frienly bonnet that can pass the headform impactor to bonnet tests, it is necessary to find a relationship between the bonnet design parameters and the characteristics kinematics of headform impactor during the collision process. In this study, many simulations of pedestrian headform impactor to bonnet top tests will be performance to analyse the characteristic of headform impactor kinematics during the collision process. This stuy also find out the relationship between characteristic of headform impactor kinematics in testing and parameter of bonnet design. This study results will be usefull to design pedestrian friendly bonnet of car.
