ICE vehicles have been around for over a century now, and even though governments are encouraging the purchase of EVs, how soon EVs become the norm is ultimately the decision of the general public. While the EV industry is growing rapidly and shaping the future of mobility, there are still challenges that will hinder the widespread adoption of EVs. These obstacles include depreciation of EVs and the increasing costs of raw materials. Chinese automakers face a further set of challenges as they try to become the market leader, such as the differences in governmental regulations around the world and increasing competition within the EV industry.
