At the intersection adjacent to the port, the arrival of the train will cause a large number of upstream vehicles to accumulate on the main road. In order to solve the random arrival of vehicles and the demand for signal control at the oversaturated intersection, an optimization model for intersection control was established. Based on the vissim simulation of the intersection of Dayaowan Jingang Road and Chuangye One Road in Dalian, the simulation results showed that the average vehicle delay was reduced by 18.6%.
