With the "one belt, one road" initiative and the strategy of the Yangtze River economic belt, Wuhan international port as an important hub port in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River has played a more and more important role. By clarifying the evaluation index system of inland port competitiveness and using the principal component analysis method, this paper evaluates the development trend of logistics level of Wuhan international port, and then puts forward the ways of promoting the construction of smart port, optimizing inland port system, developing multimodal transport business of Wuhan international port, and taking advantage of the favorable conditions such as Tianhe Airport regional hub and Hubei International Logistics core hub, integrate the port development with the world transportation logistics system, build an international express logistics network system, comprehensively improve the port operation efficiency, and realize the modernization of port infrastructure and equipment, the intelligent automation of port production and operation, the collaborative integration of port operation organizations, the agility and flexibility of port transportation services, and the objective intelligence of port management decisions. Finally improve the competitiveness of Wuhan international port.
