In order to solve the problem of deep exploitation of oil and gas resources in China, meet the continuous development and innovation of exploration technology, larger pipe diameter and longer continuous pipe equipment will be used for operation on site, however, restricted by the road conditions in mountainous areas in China, especially in Sichuan and Chongqing, the conventional Class II chassis can no longer fully meet the transportation requirements of super-long coiled tubing on site, at the same time, the existing large-capacity coiled tube drum depends on the transportation of special semitrailer for low flat plate, There are problems such as small ground clearance, large turning diameter and high transportation cost, the operation efficiency of coiled tubing is seriously affected. This paper develops a rear axle steering semi-trailer, through road test, the measured turning diameter is 24.5m, which is 34% smaller than that of conventional semi-trailer, the contradiction between domestic road conditions and transportation requirements and site capacity requirements has been well solved, and the site application effect is good.
