In helicopter flight navigation, traditional path planning methods are often difficult to effectively deal with complex and changeable environmental conditions and emergencies, resulting in low flight efficiency and insufficient safety. In order to solve the above challenges, this paper proposes to use model predictive control (MPC) algorithm to optimize the flight path of the helicopter. In this paper, the model Predictive control (MPC) algorithm is optimized, and then the helicopter navigation path optimization scheme based on MPC algorithm is designed from the four aspects of helicopter dynamic modeling and definition of optimization objective function. The simulation results show that this optimization scheme has significant advantages in improving flight efficiency, reducing energy consumption and enhancing safety under ideal or extreme conditions, and has strong adaptability and optimization potential.
