This paper discusses the optimization and simulation of passenger flow organization in the Lanzhou West Hub, which is crucial for enhancing transportation capacity within and outside of Lanzhou. The author use AnyLogic simulation software to model the environment and transfer logic in the Lanzhou West Hub, and then simulate the two directions in which Metro stations and high-speed rail stations transfer to each other to identify bottleneck locations in the transfer process under normal and peak traffic conditions. After proposing corresponding optimization suggestions for passenger flow organization, the paper conduct another round of simulation analysis and conclude that the proposed optimization strategies effectively reduce congestion and queuing time. This paper provides practical guidance for optimizing passenger transfer flow in the Lanzhou West Hub, which plays an important role in the transportation system of Lanzhou.
