This paper offers an experimental analysis of clutter degrees of freedom in airborne bistatic radar under diverse environmental conditions. It commences by establishing a clutter model tailored to airborne bistatic radar. Subsequently, through a series of experimental simulations, a comparative study is executed to scrutinize the influence of variables including aircraft flight velocity, flight altitude, baseline length, total baseline distance, and flight angles on clutter degrees of freedom. The research results are helpful to the understanding of the clutter property of airborne bistatic radar and the research of clutter suppression methods.
