The drop and pull transport organization model is widely used in foreign countries, and the development of drop andpull transport in China has been piloted in the field of highway trunk transportation and port logistics. In this paper, we focuson the situation of drop and pull transport operation between multiple customer points inland with the port as the center, build a model for the drop and pull transport vehicle scheduling problem with time window, and solve the model byusing the taboo search algorithm. The experimental results show that the system cost model established in this paper canfind a better tractor trailer allocation ratio while obtaining the lowest cost of the system, but with the increase of thenumber of tractors, the number of trailers does not show an increasing number all the time, and will be affectedbythenumber of customers in the system, the operation organization mode and other factors. The conclusion of the studycanprovide decision support for dumping operation scheduling and new ideas of drop and pull transport for the fieldof port logistics transportation.
