The increasing request and needs of data products for Earth monitoring have required to design and produce satellites with more and more challenging performances while reducing launch cost. This means to reduce satellite dimension and weight. The hyperspectral data demand in the VIS-SWIR spectral range from 400 to 2500mm is so proposed to be retrieved by a mini satellite based on PLATiNO platform and a compact hyperspectral payload with a total launch mass <385kg including an ancillary panchromatic camera and 2 x hall effect thrusters for orbit rephasing and maintenance. The satellite acquisition mode and performance are presented reporting the constraints which have driven the missionization design. Specific agility data for flexibility data acquisition are reported. Satellite TT&C S-band antenna and X band datalink are described too. Paper refers to developing program from which platform, thruster and payload gain heritage.
