This paper mainly focuses on the buses along Nantong Metro Line 1, with an analysis of Bus No. 79 that shares the route with the metro. It is found that there are many shared stations, leading to intense competition. To address this issue, an optimization plan is proposed: using a target clustering model to select potential stations, employing the basic ant colony algorithm to optimize the distance between bus and metro stations, and configuring the nearest bus stop near the optimized stations. This research holds significant value in enhancing Nantong's public transportation carrying capacity and operational efficiency, as well as addressing issues such as resource wastage and low metro ridership.
