Frost heaving and thaw collapse of the high-speed railway subgrade will greatly affect the operation and maintenance of railways. Taking one section of Lanxin High-speed Railway as the research object, this paper adopted the numerical analysis method on the basis of the existing theoretical calculation models to study the frost-thaw damage and its deformation characteristics of high-speed railway subgrade in seasonal frozen areas. It studied and analyzed the temperature field, moisture field and deformation field of the high-speed railway subgrade in the seasonal frozen area. The results show that the temperature field, moisture field and deformation field inside the subgrade change regularly with temperature at different time nodes. Furthermore, the change of temperature field is the main factor leading to the change of the moisture field, while the coupling of the temperature field and moisture field results in the regular variation of the deformation field in time domain. The research results can provide reference for the further research on the frost heaving law of the high-speed railway subgrade and the solution of frost heaving damage.
