The necessity to engineer motor vehicles for operation in extremes of temperature has long been acknowledged. The classical solution utilizes road testing in the environment. Shortcomings, however, exist and it is because of these that Gaydon Technology invested in a purpose-built wind tunnel for climatic simulation.
