In the framework of the DynoTrain project's work package (WP) 1, stationary and on-track test with five vehicles were conducted. The main objective of the tests was the provision of data for WP 2, WP 3, WP 4 and WP 5 for further evaluation. The stationary tests were conducted in the test centre in Minden, Germany. The on-track tests were performed in Germany, France, Italy and Switzerland. Track geometry and rail profiles were simultaneously measured during the on-track testing, in order to investigate the interaction between vehicles and track. Due to operational reasons the on-track tests were not carried out exactly according to the requirements written in EN 14363, for example, the vehicles were not tested at a 10% higher speed or higher cant deficiency. Hence, the result of the statistical analysis of the measured parameters cannot be regarded as an acceptance test.
