The City of Kansas City, Missouri, has undertaken a new development guidance system in the vicinity of Kansas City International Airport. This airport is an entirely new public transportation facility now in the final construction stages and expected to be operational by 1972. The development guidance system is designed to take account of environmental noise utilizing FAA noise exposure forecasts in conjunction with land use control zones.
