FHTS is the thermohydraulic extension to ESATAN, the European space industry standard thermal analyser. Capable of simulating both single- and two-phase flow, FHTS is now being provided with features to facilitate the system-level modelling of capillary-pumped loops. Component models such as the capillary evaporator, capillary filter and two-phase reservoir are under development, as well as generic modelling facilities which will be utilised by these components. The current status of this development is discussed and results from prototyping are presented.
