By examining the usual repetitive and low-volume manufacturing characteristics, one can see the need for dust-In-Time processing. This paper examines the changes required to adapt repetitive manufacturing to low-volume production, and presents a production case study. By tailoring the information presented to individual needs, operations in almost any manufacturing concern can be streamlined.
