This paper describes an automobile spark ignition engine which harnesses the neglected potential of Rankine Compounding. (1, 2)*The building blocks of information which support the postulation of such an engine are contained in the technical literature published by SAE, NASA, DOE, and industry. That data is relied upon as authoritative material for the description of an engine which utilizes waste heat more effectively than others of record.
