Since 1995, KUBOTA has been marketing mid-sized agricultural tractors ranging from 33.6 to 59.7kW PTO horsepower. The positive features are the compact body size, superior-mobility and versatility in agricultural, homeowner and landscape operations. In 2006 a new generation of M Series Tractors was introduced for the US market. The updated tractors have incorporated all of the positive features from the previous models. In addition, Kubota has pursued operator-comfort in the development of the new models. Focusing on operator-comfort and visibility has led to an all new cabin frame and a new air conditioner system with optimized air flow. This paper introduces the features and techniques used to develop the new cab tractors.
