This paper covers the condenser-radiator development effort conducted under the Sunflower I program. The objective of this portion of the program was to provide a full scale condenser-radiator component suitable for integration into the mercury Rankine cycle Sunflower I space power system. In the course of the program, a full scale condenser-radiator was designed, fabricated, and tested, both as a component and as part of a complete power system test. Emphasized in this paper are the practical considerations of the program; namely, geometric configuration, material selection and fabrication, and test results.
