In this paper, we propose a signal processing modeling method that interferes with other radars when automotive radar transmits chirp sequences, and simulate the interference in various situations. With the popularization and application of millimeter-wave radar sensors in intelligent driving, the interference between radar sensors has become a very serious problem. However, in the traditional radar interference analysis, only the interference of a single chirp or triangular wave signal is analyzed and lacks the modeling and analysis of the interference situation of the chirp sequences. To solve this problem, in this paper, we extend the interference of a single chirp signal to the chirp sequence. In our work, we can change various parameters of the model such as bandwidth, chirp duration, chirp interval, velocity, and other variables. The time-frequency analysis is used to study the characteristics of the interfered spectrum. The range-Doppler maps under different interference situations can also be analyzed by our signal model and simulations. Our results demonstrate that our method is effective and can simulate interference situations in a variety of scenarios.
