This specification, in conjunction with the general requirements for steel heat treatment covered in AMS2759, establishes the requirements for annealing, stress relieving, and stabilizing heat treatment of austenitic corrosion-resistant steel parts. Parts are defined in AMS2759. AMS2759/4C has been reaffirmed to comply with the SAE five-year review policy.
