For many years the Canadian Regulatory Authority has delegated approvals for Maintenance Programs and Engineering Changes to some of the larger air carriers. The regulations and advisory material relating to these approvals are now being rewritten and developed to reflect the current operating environment. This will result in the privileges being clearly defined, auditable and available to every carrier that has the resources to comply with the requirements.
