The subject of this work is the thermal control of the quartz cells for biological samples of the BIOLAB Microscope. The active thermal control, based on thermo-electric devices, has been designed by means of lumped parameter thermal network; the analysis prediction are described and preliminary breadboard test results are presented as well.
