Application of Ovonic Battery Company's (OBC's) high power and energy dense NiMH battery products in heavy-duty vehicles, such as buses and trucks, will offer the same performance and economic advantages that have made it the technology of choice for the major automotive manufacturers. Recent advances in the development of Ovonic NiMH batteries for heavy-duty vehicle are shown.
