The drive for improved safety and reduced fuel consumption has been changing drastically the requirement of materials in car structures and body. To follow these demands, steel manufacturers have designed and industrialized new high technology steels with different objectives: In the mean time, simulation and conception continue to improve and will yield to better use of steel therefore safer and more fuel-efficient cars.
