The purpose of this study is to reduce driver's seat vibration during an engine start or stop. In general, this is an important research item for NVH performance in the vehicle development stage. However, it has been difficult to improve this vibration performance since the testing group evaluates this item using the trial and error method at the very last development period. Thus, the present study is meant to overcome the current issues by: This method can be applied earlier in the vehicle development stage, allowing more time to improve and optimize the design.
