The performance of hydraulic petroleum fluids is compared to that of conventional synthetic fluids used in motor vehicle braking systems.Water tolerance tests were made with a laboratory apparatus to study the vapor lock properties. Different parameters which can affect “vapor lock” have been studied, such as:
