This paper summarizes the two CODAG applications which the U. S. Coast Guard plans to put into operation. The first application has been shop tested and is being installed in a new cutter. The second application is being designed at the present time. Design configuration and advantages and disadvantages, as well as discussion of separate components of machinery and controls, are included.
