The paper describes the results of acoustic characteristics measurements and hearing evaluation with an unique system using a dummy head on the sound quality for car audio total system including a radio. The feature of the evaluation system is to compare the sound quality of various car audio systems at the same listening condition. It has been confirmed that there have been high correlations between the acoustic characteristics and the results of the hearing evaluation.
