The use of a pressure and flow compensated piston pump, electro-hydraulic valves, load sensing hydrostatic steering and hydrostatic ground drive contribute to the increased productivity of the Case/International Model 1844 cotton picker. Included in this presentation is a description of the hydraulic system and its contribution to the over all performance, reliability, serviceability, and safety of the new 4-row cotton picker.
