Lucas Rists Wiring Systems has for some years been involved in the design and implementation of distributed intelligence body systems. This paper details two further developments within the MultiMaster concept, previously presented. The first is the BlackBox module, which allows data-traffic from whole-vehicle systems to be stored for later perusal and analysis. The second is the VoiceBox module, enabling potential rationalisation of switchgear via verbal command recognition.
