This specification covers a titanium alloy in the form of extruded bars, tubes, and shapes, and flash welded rings up through 4.000 in2 (25.81 cm2) cross-section and stock for flash welded rings. AMS4933G results from a Five-Year Review and update of this specification. Changes have been made to prohibit unauthorized exceptions (3.5.1.1.4, 3.9, 4.4.2, 5.1.1, 8.6,), update applicable documents (Section 2, 8.3) and ordering information (8.8), and allow the use of the immediate prior specification revision (8.5).
