This engine originally intended for use in our own heavy equipment proved to have in its basic conception and design the potential for application in other fields. Design and development of the line of P&H Diesel engines is described, stressing as main features: performance, simplicity, reliability and unusually good serviceability; even with a low specific weight lb/hp ratio and small overall dimensions.
