ALLIED AUTOMOTIVE'S BENDIX ELECTRONICS has installed an automated system for testing and calibrating the DEKA series multipoint injectors at its Newport News Operations. This paper describes the overall design of the system and its operating principles. Numerous key technologies are highlighted; they are: injector tray design, computerized control, on-line data communications, test cavity design, and fuel flow measurement.
