This paper describes the development and commercialization of a new polymer blend technology. This technology is a radical step forward resulting in the most synergistic thermoplastic blends available today. The full chemical resistance of crystal line materials is coupled with the outstanding dimensional stability of amorphous plastics. The material is called GTX. This paper describes the mechanical properties of GTX for use in exterior body applications.
