A new thin organic composite coated Zn-Ni alloy electroplated steel sheet has been developed by applying the techniques of silica-added chromating and electrostatic organic dispersed coating. This coated steel sheet has better corrosion resistance and weldability than the conventional thin organic composite coated Zn-Ni steel sheet prepared by the roll coating method .
