Due to the increased demand of textile fabrics used in automotive soft trims, new processes using thermoplastic heat-activated web adhesives have been developed. Sharnet webs, made from a new development for making non-wovens, offer a wide range of polymers and blends to be used in different applications in soft trim. The processes and the applications for thermoplastic heat-activated webs are necessary to meet the demands of the automotive engineers.
