This paper will discuss new developments that enhance the heat and chemical resistance of rubber articles made with Hydrogenated Acrylonitrile Butadiene Rubber (HNBR). Results of long term aging studies in hot air, lubricating oils, and oxygenated fuels will be presented. The work will be oriented to seal, hose and belt applications where significant service life enhancements are required to meet 10+ year durability.
