This paper pursue to disseminate the work of development done in recent years with the goal to develop, simulate and test a semi-active control applied to pick-up trucks in order to improve the comfort and safety. This semi-active system was based on Magneto-rheological Dampers and electronic control using a Digital Signal Processor (DSP) which run a robust control algorithm developed via LQG-LTR (Linear Quadratic Gaussian - Loop Transfer Recovery) procedure. The improvements in comfort and ride were validated through experimental tests results.
