This specification covers a titanium alloy in the form of extruded bars and shapes, flash welded rings 3.000 inches (76.20 mm) and under in nominal diameter or least distance between parallel sides, and stock for flash welded rings. AMS4935M results from a Five-Year Review and update of this specification. Changes have been made to update general agreement language to prohibit unauthorized exceptions (3.5.1.1.2, 3.8, 8.6), paragraph numbering (4.2.2.1), applicable documents (Section 2, 8.3), compressive properties (3.5.1.2), sampling and testing (4.3.2), and allow use of the immediate prior revision of this specification (8.5).
