An Integrated model in which interior model is incorporated with BIW is used to evaluate occupant injury values for SUV vehicle in frontal impact. Sled simulation model is constructed for occupant simulation in 35mph NCAP and 25mph unbelted condition. The simulation results are compared to the test results. The effects of design changes of several interior parts on injury values are evaluated with the correlated model. Integrated model is composed of the sled model and full vehicle structural model, and component model is introduced. The component model is simpler and faster than the integrated model for feasibility study. The validation of the integrated model is evaluated by comparing the occupant injury values with the test’s
